I write engaging and compelling stories about Tennessee’s history, culture, and communities with a special emphasis on putting the past in conversation with the present to imagine better futures. I have a MA in History with a graduate certificate in museum studies from The University of Memphis. My research interests include modern American history, the relationship between cultural institutions and their communities, and strategic foresight.
